2. How long is my membership to Wealthy Writer’s Wisdom?

  • The standard membership term is one year from the date of your first payment.

  • Because Wealthy Writer’s Wisdom is a comprehensive program, you will know how to:

4. Does this course cover both fiction and non-fiction projects?

  • Yes, Wealthy Writer’s Wisdom is a program that will provide great insight into both categories of authorship.

5. How soon after I purchase Wealthy Writer’s Wisdom can I expect to start receiving its content?

  • You will be able to access the program’s content immediately after your username and password are issued. Because this program is self-paced, you can take as little or as much time as you need.

6. After I purchase, what will I expect to receive?

  • When you purchase Wealthy Writer’s Wisdom, you will receive a unique username and password in your inbox of the email that you use to register from WealthyWritersWisdom.com. Once you have received it, you will have full access to the entire site, and all learning materials. You will also receive a receipt for your payment. Because Wealthy Writer’s Wisdom is an online program, you don’t need to worry about receiving anything in the mail. 7. Why should I trust Wealthy Writer’s Wisdom’s credibility?

  • Wealthy Writer’s Wisdom was created by Mark Victor Hansen, co-author of the Chicken Soup for the Soul series, (which holds a world record for having the most books on a best-sellers list at one time) and many other best-selling books, like the One Minute Millionaire series. Mark continues to be an industry leader, boasting more than 30 years of top-shelf experience in the book marketing and publishing industry. He has also been very successful with his various entrepreneurial efforts.

  • Many beginning writers find this to be their compass in the dense woods of first time authorship. It provides a starting point, and clear actionable steps for the entire book writing process.

9. I have already completed my book, will this program cover marketing?

  • Yes! Wealthy Writer’s Wisdom features and entire lesson about marketing. Plus, there is marketing advice throughout all of the videos, including topics like designing a marketable cover and how to choose a great marketable title.

10. What is an “Author’s Concierge”, and how do I contact this person?

  • An Author’s Concierge is one of the bonus aspects that makes Wealthy Writer’s Wisdom so unique. Our Author’s Concierge is there to help guide you through particularly challenging areas of writing…the Author’s Concierge is a real person who has had years of experience working with best-sellers, and serves as the author’s troubleshooting solution! Once you sign up for Wealthy Writer’s Wisdom, you’ll be given instructions on how to contact your Author’s Concierge.

11. What are the live monthly conference calls with Mark Victor Hansen like?

  • They are great…during the beginning of the call, Mark gives a short inspirational message, and then lets the group know about up-coming events. Mark then dedicates the rest of the call to a live Q & A session with the members.

12. When are the calls?

  • The calls are held on the first Wednesday of each month from 4-5pm PST.

13. What if I miss a call?

  • We archive all the calls on WealthyWritersWisdom.com; you can access them at anytime.

14. Are the videos compatible with iPad and iPhone?

  • No because iPad and iPhone cannot display flash videos. And for copyright protection, we are currently not making them downloadable on iPad or iPhone.

15. If I become a member of Wealthy Writer’s Wisdom, will Mark publish my book or guarantee that my book gets published?

  • Wealthy Writer’s Wisdom is a program that provides you with the tools you need to complete your book, and gives guidance on how to prepare your book for publication. At this time, Wealthy Writer’s Wisdom nor Mark Victor Hansen will publish your book or guarantee it gets published. However, because Mark is a well-respected figure in the publishing industry, he does hold favorable relationships with many literary agencies.

16. Does Wealthy Writer’s Wisdom provide publishing services, such as editing, distribution, and marketing?

  • Wealthy Writer’s Wisdom does provide information about marketing, but does not currently provide an execution mechanism for its members. Additionally, Wealthy Writer’s Wisdom does not provide any editing or distribution services. On the other hand, Wealthy Writer’s Wisdom may be able to provide you with valuable professional resources for these services.

17. What is the ideal Wealthy Writer’s Wisdom timeline for completion?

  • The great thing about Wealthy Writer’s Wisdom is that once you complete the Fill in the Blank book, it should only take you about 90 days to complete your finished book. This aspect makes this program ideal for any time budget.

18. Aside from the workbook and the Fill in the Blank books, what other tools do you have to support a writer?

  • In addition to these comprehensive tools, we also offer a live monthly call, a blog, interviews from other industry professionals, an active Facebook community and you have the added bonus of an Author’s Concierge!

19. What payment options are available?

  • You can pay in full for $1997.00 or a down payment of $250.00 and 10-monthly payments of $195.00.

20. Which internet browser should I use?

  • We prefer Mozilla Firefox version 3.5 browser. Firefox is a free, popular and great browser that millions of people use. It can be used on either Mac or Windows operating systems.

  • If you are using Internet Explorer, please check to if you have version 7 or 8 installed. The previous versions could cause viewing problems.

21. I installed the new browser but there is still no video.

  • You might need the free Adobe flash player plug-in. You can download it here: Adobe Flash Player
  • When you go to download the player, uncheck Free McAfee Security Scan, and click download. After download, go ahead and run the install. You should be done in less than a minute.

22. Nothing on the web page seems to be working correctly, and everything looks a bit strange, and misaligned. What's going on?

  • This is likely a Javascript issue. Make sure that you have Javascript enabled. To make sure Javascript is enabled in Internet Explorer please do the following steps:
    • Under the Tools menu (top right) select "Internet Options..."
    • Select the Security tab.
    • Pick the "Internet" icon (first one).
    • Click on the "Custom Level..." button.
    • Look for the "Scripting" section (almost at the bottom) from the Settings list.
    • Choose the &quote;Enable" radio button from the "Active scripting" item.
    • Click OK to close the Security Settings dialog box.
    • Click OK to close the Internet Options dialog box.
    • Restart IE
  • To make sure Javascript is enabled in Firefox please do the following steps:
    • On the Tools menu, click Options.
    • Click on the Content icon.
    • Check the box next to Enable JavaScript.
    • Click the Advanced button to open the Advanced JavaScript Options box.
    • Check the boxes under Allow scripts to section that you want to allow.
    • Click OK.
    • Click OK one more time to close the window

23. How do I pause, rewind or fast forward?

  • The flash player has these controls so that you can pause to take notes. Just click on the video and it will pause. Click on it a second time to resume.
  • To rewind, move your mouse to the scroll bar on the bottom and it turn into a hand. You can then click back to the area that you want to replay.
  • To fast forward, you will have to wait a little while while the video streams in. You should see the blue line start filling from left to right. You can click on the blue line and move forward to the desired section of the video.
